As a professional celebrant, I have the distinct privilege of guiding families through one of life's most profound moments – saying farewell to a loved one.
My Speaker of Life services provide a fitting tribute to your loved one whilst relieving the stress of public speaking for you at a time of immense grief.
Speaker of Life Ceremonies
You want to give your loved one the best send off possible, and that includes saying a few words at the ceremony on behalf of yourself and your family.
But you don't feel you are a confident speaker, you are worried that you will be too upset to speak during the ceremony, or that emotion will overcome you and you won't deliver a eulogy to the best of your abilities.
This is where I can help.
As a Speaker of Life, I can do two things for you:
- Deliver a eulogy on your behalf
- Write a eulogy for your loved one on your behalf
Deliver a Eulogy on Your Behalf
If you are not a confident public speaker, or you feel too upset to deliver your loved one's eulogy, I can do it for you.
As an experienced public speaker, and an experienced celebrant, I can deliver a tribute your behalf during the funeral ceremony.
This can take place as part of the ceremony wherever you have chosen to have the funeral. It can be included as part of a church mass delivered by a priest, and is not confined to non-religious or Humanist funerals.
The advantages of asking me to speak about your loved one are:
- It takes pressure away from you during a time of great grief and sadness
- Your loved one's eulogy is delivered by an experienced public speaker
- You get to write the eulogy if you wish
- If you prefer, I can write the eulogy using your own words or with contributions from you
The result is a tribute to your loved one, in your own words, approved by you, and delivered by a professional speaker.
Write a Eulogy on Your Behalf
Whatever type of funeral ceremony you decide to have - church mass, celebrant-led, a ceremony in a funeral home - I will write the eulogy to your loved one.
I will meet with you to discuss the deceased's life and what elements you wish to include in the eulogy.
I will then write the eulogy, approved by you, for delivery at the funeral ceremony.
This eulogy can be delivered:
- as part of a church funeral mass
- as part of a non-religious funeral ceremony
The eulogy can be delivered:
- by you
- by a representative of your family
- by me
